I started with data. Now I build the systems.

I started in econometrics, working on data and optimization. Over time I got more interested in using that analysis to improve real systems.

I've written code across data and product work, and I began building tools to solve problems I was seeing in my own classroom. Most of what I build is used by adult learners and instructors, so it has to be simple, fast, and usable.

I build, test with real users, and iterate on what works. Data guides my decisions, but I give more weight to what people actually do than to what looks good on paper.

I now work at MLRI, in legal aid. I still take on select contract work wherever a difficult system stands between someone and what they need.
